Due for release shortly, the Diamond will challenge the best of the wildlife optics, sitting easily alongside models costing almost twice as much.
The high grade, fully nature-phase multi-coated optics include triplet objectives with TWIN ED elements, rating this instrument in the top bracket of wildlife observation. The waterproof, armoured body design is quite under-stated, with a subtle, earthy green finish, silver trim, captive objective covers and just the right weight and grip - a gorgeous balance.
In addition the smooth action twist-up eyecups locate at several positions, and the right diopter has a locking balance ring – ensuring maximum comfort for the intensive use this instrument will surely enjoy. The image produced is so sharp as to be simply stunning, incredibly easy on the eye, and with amazingly deep focus. Waders in the foreground are still in focus as you concentrate on the rest of the flock still flying in.
Suitable for almost all applications requiring serious observation these binoculars will set new standards for this price point, bringing a full wildlife spec within far more people’s budget than current offerings.
