Filter thread stepping ring
Olivon`s DCA camera adaptor is fitted with a stepping ring to attach it to the SLR camera`s specific T2 adaptor. If removed, this stepping ring reveals a male 52mm filter thread on the DCA, which enables attachment of the DCA to the female filter thread of many camera lenses (useful if, as in SLR look-alikes, the camera lens cannot be detached from the camera body). This series of Stepping rings can be used to mate that 52mm thread (and hence the DCA) to virtually any camera lens` filter thread. In conjunction with a T/52mm stepping ring, stepping rings can also be used to adapt SLR camera adaptors with only the T2 thread (eg Far-Sighted T77 Cam Adaptor, Visionary Cam Adaptor `A`) to the filter threads of most cameras.
