Based in West Yorkshire, the Far-Sighted Binocular Company retails a large range of binoculars and telescopes at public events throughout the UK. We understand optics and always hope to find our customers a model appropriate to their needs and their budget.
A large proportion of our offer is available through this website, and if you know the model you require, just look it up in the products section, or use the manufacturer's drop-down list, or the "quick-find" facility. If you need some guidance, go first to the "Binocular Information" page to pick up a few tips on what to look for.
The way we operate is fully described in our “Terms of Trading” page, but briefly, we only sell within the UK, and our prices include VAT & carriage to UK mainland addresses. We use “Protx” as our secure payment gateway and do not see, record or have access to credit card details submitted when making a purchase. We endeavour to despatch goods quickly, but it can take up to ten working days for you to receive your goods at busy periods during the show season. We do not make-up or use mailing lists – we know that if you are satisfied, and need further products, you will come back to us in your own time, or even recommend us to friends and colleagues! If you are likely to shop with us again, you can create a log-on Account at the checkout so as to quickly re-access your contact details for 6 to 12 months, otherwise just use the direct to checkout section.
Hopefully you will find a suitable instrument for your purposes in the products section, but if you are not sure, please use our "Events Calendar" to find a convenient show hosting one of our outdoor stands, where you can try them out and really see the differences.
In any case thank you for visiting our site - please come back in the future and see how it grows.
